Electric hoist operators should strictly follow their job responsibilities and issue warning signals in the following situations:
Before starting the electric hoist lifting machine, when it is near other cranes of the same span; when lifting and lowering the hook with abnormal conditions; when the lifted object approaches ground personnel during transportation; when the crane is running above the lifting channel; when equipment malfunctions or abnormalities occur during lifting.
It is strictly forbidden for goods lifted by electric hoists to pass through or stay above the cab and human heads of vehicles. The goods should move along a safe passage.
The "two not-falls" of the electric hoist: not falling on the traffic road; the working object is not placed stably or tilted.
Electric hoists are not allowed to use the lifting limiters, buffers, and stop blocks for the purpose of lift or parking.
Electric hoists are not allowed to pull or drag the object at an angle.
Electric hoists are not allowed to arbitrarily dismantle any safety devices on the lifting machine.
Electric hoists are not allowed to operate in dimly lit environments where the work site and lifted objects cannot be clearly seen.
Pay attention to the electric hoist carrying loads in narrow places or in unstable positions, and avoid blind operations. Safety should be observed from all directions during operation.
Pay attention to whether the electric hoist hook is directly above the lifted load.
When an electric hoist malfunction is discovered, immediately cut off the power supply.
When heavy objects approach or reach the rated load of the electric hoist, they should be lifted and transported steadily after a small height and short distance test lift.
When the weight of the electric hoist is lowered to 30mm above the ground, stop and observe whether it is safe before dropping it further.
When the electric hoist lifts a load and flips it, the operator must stand on the opposite side of the flipping area and confirm that there are no other workers in the area before proceeding.
Electric hoists should be driven to a fixed position after work is completed, the power should be cut off, and the remote control should be hung on the hook, about 1.5 meters above the ground. It is not allowed to place it randomly when not in use.
Before lifting the workpiece with the electric hoist, drive it for a distance and check whether the rotation is normal before lifting the goods.
When the electric hoist overhead crane lifts heavier objects, it should be started slowly. After lifting off the ground, the holding brake should be tested for reliability, the lifting gear should be checked for integrity, and the braking should be smooth to avoid shaking.
In the course of using the electric hoist, the operator must concentrate on the task at hand and is forbidden to talk to others. Reading, playing, and other activities are not allowed.
It is strictly forbidden for anyone to pass under the load lifted by the electric hoist, and it is forbidden to work under the lifted load. During the lifting process, hands, feet, and other body parts must be kept at least 400 millimeters away from the object to prevent crushing injuries.
