Maintenance and maintenance regulations for hand hoists
Daily inspection and maintenance
Check whether the lifting chain has excessive wear, corrosion, deformation, or external damage.
Check whether all rotating parts are flexible and whether fasteners are loose. Check the wear and deformation of the lifting hook. The lifting hook should have no harmful defects such as cracks, sharp corners, burrs, corrosion, warpage, and twisting.
All transmission parts should be regularly lubricated with oil and grease, and the friction surfaces of the brake must be kept clean and without oil, and stains to ensure reliable braking performance.
The lifting chain should be frequently lubricated with oil during use, and should not be contaminated with mud and other debris, so as to avoid bringing them into the lifting chain wheel, which may deposit in the concave part and affect normal meshing.
The used hand hoist should be stored in a dry place. When it is not used for a long time, proper protection and storage should be carried out.
Regular inspection and maintenance of hand hoists
Personnel familiar with the product's structure and performance must be arranged to disassemble and inspect it regularly according to the instructions for use and maintenance.
The hand chain hoist that has been disassembled and reassembled should undergo a performance test with a static pulling force of 1.5 times the rated load before it can continue to be used if it meets the requirements.
Safety operation regulations for hand hoists
Usage Regulations
Overloading is strictly prohibited.
It is strictly prohibited to operate with power other than manual labor.
Before use, it is necessary to confirm that the parts are intact, the transmission parts and the lifting chain are well lubricated, and the idling situation is normal.
Before lifting, check whether the upper and lower hooks are hung firmly. It is strictly forbidden to lift heavy objects at the tip and other incorrect operations. The lifting chain should be suspended vertically and there should be no twisted links. The lower hook of the double-row chain should not be overturned.
The operator should stand in the same plane as the hand chain wheel and pull the hand chain to make the hand chain wheel rotate clockwise to lift the heavy object; pull the hand chain in the opposite direction, and the heavy object will slowly descend.
During lifting, it is strictly forbidden for personnel to do any work or walk under the heavy object, so as to avoid personal accidents.
During the lifting process, whether the heavy object is rising or falling, when pulling the hand chain, the force should be even and gentle, and avoid excessive force, so as not to cause the hand chain to jump or jam.
If the operator finds that the pulling force is greater than the normal force, they should immediately stop using it.
Maintenance regulations
After use, the hand hoist should be cleaned and coated with rust-proof oil, and stored in a dry place.
Maintenance and repair should be carried out by those who are familiar with the hoist mechanism to prevent those who do not understand the performance principles of the machine from dismantling it at will.
After the hand chain hoist is cleaned and repaired, it should be subjected to a no-load test to confirm that it works normally and the brake is reliable before it can be put into use.
The friction surface of the brake must be kept clean. The brake should be inspected regularly to prevent brake failure and the occurrence of heavy object self-falling phenomena.
