Safety regulations for hand hoist
Before use, check whether the hook, chain, and other components are in good condition, and whether the transmission and brake mechanisms are working properly. It is strictly prohibited to use if the hook, chain wheel, or twist lock is deformed. Chain wear over 15% is also prohibited.
When lifting the same weight with two or more hoists, the weight of the load should not exceed the lifting capacity of each hoist.
The lifting chain of the chain hoist should not be twisted, and should not be dismantled and used as a single strand.
Strictly prevent the brake pads of the chain hoist from coming into contact with grease.
The chain hoist should not be overloaded. For lifting capacity below 5t, one person is allowed to pull the chain; for lifting capacity above 5t, two persons are allowed to pull the chain. It is not allowed to increase the number of individuals pulling forcefully, and during operation, people should not stand directly under the chain hoist.
If the suspended load needs to remain in the air for a long time, the hand chain of the hand hoist should be tied to the lifting chain, and a safety rope should be added on the load.
If the chain hoist encounters a situation where the chain is stuck, the load must be secured before inspection and repair can be carried out.
Precautions for using hand-operated hoists
Before operating, all components and parts of the hand-operated hoist must be thoroughly inspected, including each link of the chain. It should only be used if it is in good condition.
The hand-operated hoist must not be overloaded during use.
The lifting chain of the hand-operated hoist should be vertically suspended from the load. There should be no incorrect links between each link of the chain.
When pulling the hand chain of the hand-operated hoist, the direction of the chain must be in the same plane as the chain wheel.
Pulling at an angle is strictly prohibited to prevent the chain from getting stuck.
When pulling the hand hoist, the force must be steady to prevent the chain from jumping or getting stuck. When difficulty in pulling is encountered, the reason should be checked in time, and the chain should not be forcefully pulled to avoid breaking the chain or pin.
When using a tripod, the three legs must maintain a relative distance, and the two legs should be connected with a rope. When the connecting rope is placed on the ground, care should be taken to prevent workers from tripping over it.
The lifting height must not exceed the standard value to prevent the chain from breaking and causing accidents.
