Hand Winch

1. The traction force of the winch is set in pounds and can be converted into tons or kilograms through conversion. It is best to choose a winch with a high number of pounds, because the weight of the trapped vehicle is often much higher than the daily vehicle weight. Do not tow objects that exceed the winch's traction.

2. The more turns the winch's steel cable is wound on the reel, the smaller the tension of the outer ring. The winch with long reel can reduce the number of turns to increase the traction of the outer ring. For the same winch, the outer ring traction force of shorter steel cable is greater than that of longer steel cable.

Step 1: Unpack and take out the hand winch. Turn the hexagon screw and shim away from the tail end of the gear axe. Fix the nut on the handle to the trapezoidal turbine at the tail end of the gear axe, so that the inside of the nut is close to the friction part. Then tighten the screws and shims.

Step 2: Assemble the winch wire rope: loosen the hexagon screw on the left fixing plate of the winch drum, and remove the fixing plate from the wire rope and the screw with oval head and square column. One end of the steel wire rope is wound on the drum in a clockwise direction, and the other end passes through the long, round and arc-shaped hole on the left of the guardrail. The exposed length of steel wire rope shall be 7-10CM. Pass the screws with oval head and square column through the square hole on the left side of the reel from inside to outside. Put it into the steel wire rope fixing plate, rotate the steel wire rope around the screw, pull it back, insert the steel wire rope into the fixing plate, then tighten and fix it with hexagon nut, and shake the handle to make the steel wire rope wound on the reel (when winding the steel wire rope, keep it under tension).

Step 3: Use three screws and nuts to secure the winch to the base. The base can withstand heavy loads.

Attentions In Use of Hand Winch

Do not pull or move people with this winch.

Do not overload.

If the wire rope has been damaged, broken, rusted or knotted, do not use it.

When working, do not buckle the hook at the end of the steel wire rope on the steel wire rope to avoid wearing the steel wire rope.

When pulling the goods, the steel wire rope shall be perpendicular to the reel, otherwise it is easy to wear the steel wire rope.

When the winch is used to pull the heavy load, it is best to use pulley to reduce the load of winch and steel wire rope.

When the steel wire rope is wound on the reel for less than 5 turns, do not use the winch to pull the goods. Otherwise, the fixed plate will not bear the heavy load and cause accidents.

When the winch is working, do not touch the steel wire rope, reel or pulley. When it is necessary to tidy the steel wire rope, please wear gloves and cover the steel wire rope with thick cloth.
