The flexible polyurethane-coated steel belt is 3 mm thickness. Compared with the traditional wire rope, it is a revolutionary traction medium. which is stronger than conventional steel wire rope. And the belt core is made up of high strength steel wire ropes. It help the strength evenly distributed and flexibly bended . The polyurethane coated traction steel belt can lasts up to three times longer than steel cables. Due to its smooth surfaces, and minimal moving parts in the gearless machine dramatically reduce wear and increase durability and efficiency.

Traction steel belt has high flexibility and traction, compared with the traditional wire rope drive, it can drive smaller pulleys. It saves space and made the transmission device much more compact.
The steel belt has small inertia, which performs high transmission efficiency during work. This property attribute to energy saving and environmental protection.
Each composite steel belt withstand a tensile force of 3200 kg/6400 kg, and each elevator has at least 3 composite steel belts. The safety factor is greater than 12, which making the operation more smoothly and stable.
