DIN763 Mild Steel Long Link Chain
The DIN standard chain is made of carbon steel with strength reached G30. Also known as welded links. DIN Chains are classified into DIN 766 short chain, DIN 764 medium chain and DIN 763 long chain according to the inner length. DIN 766 chains are specially designed for anchoring applications.
All these chains are produced and calibrated to the latest DIN standards, and each link is calibrated to ensure it fits most winches.
Grade 30 welded chains are stronger than mild steel chains, and the body can be marked with G30. But none of these chains can be used for lifting, and they are not designed with a safety factor. They can only be used in industrial, agricultural and marine applications where most do not consider the safety considerations.
