8 Strands Elevator Wire Rope 8x19S

Unlike regular wire ropes for other application, elevator wire ropes require much small dimensional tolerance, high quality material and lubrication during stranding to meet its tough safety requirements.

8 strand steel wire ropes are one of the most used wire rope for elevator. Fiber core constructed 8 strands wire ropes have good bend fatigue contributed by the small wires, good elongation and better contact on drum and sheaves. Steel core constructed 8 strands wire ropes have the advantages of very good bend fatigue, super elongation, better crush resistance and better contact on drum and sheaves.

Seale Strand: It has larger wires for outer layer and smaller wires for inner wires. Wire ropes with this construction has very good flexibility.

Warrington Strand: This strand is constructed with alternative arrangement of larger wires and smaller wires for outer layer. This strand constructed wire rope has better abrasion resistance.

Filler Strand: Arranged with smaller wires between the outer layer and inner layer to fill the space, this kind of strand has better bend fatigue and better contact with drums and sheaves.
