When working with the lift table cart, a professional driver and operator must be assigned, who have undergone special training and passed the examination to obtain the certificate for their job. Based on the actual working conditions, the above personnel can be cross-designated, but they must hold the relevant certificate for each job and be approved by the supervisor while assuming corresponding responsibilities. After the construction is completed, the lift table cart should be operated by a professional driver to move around the site.
The lift cart table driver must follow the maintenance regulations of the machinery. After performing all inspections and maintenance, the driver can start the platform truck. Before starting work, the working range of the platform truck should be checked to clear any obstacles that may interfere with the turning or walking of the platform truck.
The supporting legs are important preparatory work for operating the lift table cart, and a flat ground should be chosen. If the foundation is soft or uneven, wooden pads must be added and confirmed to be solid before work can be done.
Generally, the lift table cart should lift the lower arm first, then the middle arm, and finally the upper arm. During the turning operation of the platform truck, the turning can only be done after the lower arm has been lifted to a certain height, and the turning process should be slow, paying attention to whether the distance between each arm and the platform meets the safety requirements of the equipment.
The personnel working on the lift cart table must wear safety belts. When working in areas with electrical power, the platform truck body should be properly grounded according to the regulations. The elevated operation of the platform truck should be commanded by the person in charge of the work, who should communicate with the platform truck operator according to the signals in GB5082. The signals must be clear and accurate.
Before working with the lift table cart, the person in charge of the work should conduct technical and safety briefings with the platform truck operator and all personnel involved in the work. The content should include job requirements, safety precautions, and hazardous areas, personnel roles, and responsibilities. In addition to checking the condition of the vehicle and the work of the personnel, the person in charge of the work should also be responsible for observing the terrain and environment, whether the rise and fall of the platform meet the safety technical requirements or the pre-planned work plan. If there are any discrepancies, corresponding measures should be made before starting work.
