Installation and maintenance tips for hand chain hoist
After use, the dirt on the hand chain hoist should be wiped clean and stored in a dry place to prevent moisture, rust, and corrosion. Every year, someone familiar with the hand chain hoist mechanism should clean the parts with kerosene, and lubricate the gears and bearings with yellow grease to prevent people who are not familiar with the performance principles from dismantling it at will.
When installing the gear of a manual hand hoist, two pieces of teeth marked with a "0" should be installed in the same straight line. The rollers on the left and right bearings of the lifting chain wheel can be attached to the inner ring already pressed into the lifting chain wheel shaft neck with yellow grease and then to the outer ring of the bearing in the wallboard. When installing the braking device, pay attention to the good engagement of the pawl part, and the spring should flexibly and reliably control the pawl. After installing the hand chain hoist wheel, turn the chain wheel clockwise to press the ratchet and friction plate tightly on the brake seat. When turning the chain wheel counterclockwise, there should be a gap between the ratchet and the friction plate. The support rod and the right wallboard are static fits and should not be disassembled during maintenance. Manual hand chain hoists must undergo empty load and full load tests after cleaning and overhauling to confirm that they are running normally before use.
The friction surface of the braking device must be kept clean during refueling and use, and the braking performance should be checked frequently to prevent the failure of the brake from causing heavy objects to fall. To facilitate maintenance and disassembly, one section of the hand chain is an open chain (not welded or painted).
Methods of using and maintaining a hand chain hoist
After each use of a manual hand hoist, it must be maintained before it can be stored and used again. The maintenance methods are as follows:
After use, the hand chain hoist should be cleaned and coated with rust-proof grease before being stored in a dry place.
Maintenance and repair should be carried out by someone familiar with the mechanism of the manual hand chain hoist to prevent people who do not understand the performance principles of the machine from dismantling it at will.
Gear installation should be done according to the drawings.
When installing the slotted nut, turn the handwheel clockwise first to press the ratchet and friction plate tightly on the brake seat before installing the slotted nut.
After cleaning, inspecting, and overhauling, the manual hand chain hoist must undergo empty load and full load tests to ensure that it is working normally and reliably before it can be used. The friction surface of the brake must be kept clean and free from oil, mud, and water contamination.
Pay attention to the above-mentioned details of the hand chain hoist, use lifting equipment correctly, and regularly maintain and repair mechanical lifting equipment to avoid unnecessary trouble and make the operation safer.
