Lifter jacks can be divided into three types according to their structural characteristics
Rack lifter jack, screw (mechanical) lifter jack, and hydraulic lifter jack.
Rack lifter jack
It is lifted by a human-driven lever and gear drive rack. The lifting weight is generally not more than 20 tons, and can support heavy objects for a long time. It is mainly used in places where operating conditions are inconvenient or where a lower pallet is needed to lift heavy objects, such as railway crane work.
Screw lifting jack
It consists of a screw pair driven by human power. A screw or a nut sleeve is used as a lifting part. The ordinary screw lifter jack supports heavy objects by relying on the self-locking effect of the thread, with a simple structure but low transmission efficiency and slow return. The self-lowering screw lifting jack has no self-locking effect on the thread but is equipped with a brake. Release the brake and the heavy object can quickly descend on its own, shortening the return time, but the structure of this type of lifter jack is more complicated. The screw lifter jack can support heavy objects for a long time, and the maximum lifting weight has reached 100 tons, which is widely used. After a horizontal screw is installed on the lower part, the heavy object can also make a small distance lateral movement.
Hydraulic lifter jack
It is driven by human or electric power-driven hydraulic pumps, transmitted through a hydraulic system, and uses the cylinder or piston as the lifting part. Hydraulic lifting jacks can be divided into integral and split types. The integral pump is connected to the hydraulic cylinder; the split type has a separate pump and hydraulic cylinder, which are connected by a high-pressure hose in the middle. The hydraulic lifter jack has a compact structure can smoothly lift heavy objects and has the highest lifting weight of up to 1,000 tons and a stroke of one meter. Therefore, it is widely used, but it is prone to oil leakage and is not suitable for long-term support of heavy objects. For long-term support, self-locking lifter jacks should be used. Screw lifter jacks and hydraulic lifting jacks can be made into multi-stage telescopic lifter jacks to further reduce the height or increase the lifting distance.
In addition to the basic types mentioned above, hydraulic lifter jacks can be modified into sliding template lifting jacks, hydraulic lifting platforms, tensioning machines, etc. in accordance with the same principles for various special construction occasions.
Other types of lifter jacks
Split lifter jacks, horizontal lifting jacks, claw lifter jacks, synchronized lifter jacks, integral lifter jacks, electric lifting jacks, etc.
Claw lifter jack
It uses rigid lifting parts as the working device and lifts heavy objects with a small stroke through the top support or bottom claw. This light lifting equipment is used when the general lifter jack cannot coordinate the height of lifting heavy objects. The rocker arm can rotate 270 degrees, and when it reaches the height limit, it will automatically return oil.
When using, please tighten the hydraulic valve bolts first with the handle, and then move the manual pump up and down to raise the lifting jack. To lower it, slowly loosen the hydraulic valve bolts. The lifter jack cannot automatically descend in a gravity-free state. The load capacity at the top is twice that of the claw, so if height permits, try to use the upper position.
Horizontal lifter jack
This lifting jack is a necessary lifting equipment for various car repairs, replacing the original ditch or groove. It is safe to use and easy to move. Ton: 10T, 15T, 20T Lifting height: 1.2m, 1.6m.
